Projects
The four CSR projects we are involved in will absorb some 24,000 tonnes of CO2 at a cost of approximately £140,000 per annum. This tonnage is equivalent to the amount ofCO2our business produces and we are in effect ensuring that our net emissions are zero meaning we ARE a CarbonNeutral® company.
Radio Taxis is the first major transport business committed to covering not only the emissions produced by its offices and operations, but also taking responsibility for all the emissions created by the 3.8 million passengers who order or hail one of our cabs every year. This cost is borne entirely by the company and not passed on to the drivers or passengers.
