As part of our CSR policy, Radio Taxis has achieved ISO14001 accreditation.
Every day of our lives we hear of environmental harm whether it be in the ozone layer, rain forest, general pollution of our air, land, and water. We hear lively discussions concerning energy efficiency, conservation, renewable sources of supply and many other green issues.
We believe the full effect of environmental harm on a local and global scale can not be calculated. One thing is however certain, unless everyone on this planet accepts responsibility for maintaining and repairing the environment things will only get worse.
Organisations within the UK and Europe are becoming increasingly concerned for the environment in addition to the ethical, social and regulatory reasons there are sound economic arguments for reducing environmental impact, since waste and incidents cost industry in terms of time, money and resources to manage.
The benefit to Radio Taxis Group in implementing a Quality & Environment Management System is to establish comprehensive management controls, which will assist us in preventing and detecting non-conformities or environmental compliance issues, thereby minimising those risks which could otherwise be harmful to the company, the environment, it’s employees or customers. These management controls will apply throughout the organisation.
The scope of our management systems relates to:
- Driver training, installation and operation of the driver communication network.
- The operation of a customer/driver communication call centre and associated administration and staff training.
- Associated business support functions including client services, finance, technical, IT, sales, marketing, HR, etc... overseen by the board of management.
The maintenance of this management system is the responsibility of the directors & management.
