Radio Taxis Group gear up for an exciting future:
Radio Taxis Group, the London based transport company announced today a re-organisation of its five transport businesses.
After two years creating London’s first fully integrated and CarbonNeutral© multi-fleet; the Group has established an enviable new client list including HSBC, Norton Rose, BBC, London Underground, Westminster City Council and The Bank of England.
The reorganizational process will mean that some members of the team will be re-assigned to changed tasks and others will be stepping down.
Andrew Herbert has stepped down from the Board and as Managing Director as we reach the end of our financial year, having delivered a successful demutualisation programme project and an acquisition strategy. Chairman Geoffrey Riesel commented, "We wish to thank Andrew for his hard work in getting us to this phase in our development and we wish him every success in his future assignments." "I am pleased that Andrew will assist in the handover over the coming period and as required."
The executive board team going forwards will be Geoffrey Riesel (Currently Chairman) who will return to his former post (the day to day running of the organisation) as Chairman & CEO; Alan Franks will take on a new, enhanced and key role of Group Operations Director responsible for further improving streamlining and developing all of our call centre operational processes while former Director Peter Gibson has been co-opted to the Board and is returning to take up the role of Chief Operating Officer:
Other changes will include a brand new post of Driver Development Officer which is likely to be situated at our HQ Mountview House.
"The next few years will be very exciting for the transport industry and this re-organisation will enable us to fully realise the huge potential that the market has to offer" commented Geoffrey Riesel, Chairman of Radio Taxis Group.
"Our pioneering approach to the changing needs of the market has enabled us to continue our position as market leaders. This in-house re-organisation is designed to simplify our internal reporting structure, to focus our attention on our core skills and most importantly to bring our 3000 strong driver community much closer to us in order to enhance the decision making process."
