The potential disruption will last for approximately 100 days through from June 2012 to September 2012.

The Olympic Route Network (ORN) will operate from 6am until midnight and there will be very little if any opportuntity to cross or turn from it.

However, in addition:-

a) The ORN will only take up the offside lane while the nearside and middle lanes will be available for traffic.  Bus lanes will be suspended.

b) As the Games progresses the ORN (Network) will shrink as events from Central London or Wimbledon conclude.

c) It was agreed by all the businesses represented that although there will be disruption, it was essential that all Londoners work together to mitigate this especially by good communication from TfL, to ensure a World class games which highlight London as a World Class City.

Radio Taxis Chairman & CEO who concluded the meeting by thanking the panel for attending said that

"Better info and communications was needed for us all to be able to work together and especially in order to help bring the rank and file taxi industry back on side, who were understandably concerned."
